Kostanj diši / The sweet smell of chestnuts

Ste vedeli, da v Stari Ljubljani že diši po kostanju? Med mešanjem skače iz soda in se kotali po tleh. Otroci jih lovijo. No, vsaj gospodična G je tekla za ubežnikom.

Autumn is really here. There is a lovely smell in Old City of Ljubljana. We found the first chestnut baker on Sunday. He was mixing with such energy that chestnuts jumped out of the plate. Miss G was chasing it and laughing happily.

Sicer pa bi vam rada ponudila nov način recikliranja majic z dolgimi rokavi. Nekateri otroci ne marajo nositi žabic in so jim ljubše pajkice. V teh mrzlih dneh pa bodo prav prišle tako ene kot druge, če ne kar oboje hkrati.
Potrebujete majico z dolgimi rokavi, ki ste se je naveličali.
I was working on a new tutorial that I wolud like to share with you. I belive it is the right time of year :o) At least in this part of the world.
You need an old long sleeve Tshirt.

Zložite majico tako, da sta rokava natančno en na drugem.
Fold the vest with sleeves together.

Na rokava položite na polovico prepognjene pajkice.
Put your kids leggins on the sleeves.

Odrežite.

Cut.

Polovici spojite z bucikami in zašijte.
Join both halfs with pins and sew together.

V pasu naredite rob. Z elastiko zmerite otroka v pasu. Z varnostno zaponko vpeljite elastiko. Držite drugi konec, da vam ne uide.
Make a waist band. Measure the child's waist and cut a length of elastic to match. Push the safety pin through the opening in the waist band and work it all the way around. Be sure to hold the other end and not let it go through too! Overlap waist band and hand sew together really well.

Finito.

Takole pa šivamo zadnje čase pri naši hiši. Gospodična G pritiska na pedalo, jaz pa vzklikam "Ustavi, ustavi!!!"
